Mama Rosalie and baby Holiday were rescued from being sent to slaughter originally from our friends at All Seated in a Barn. Rosalie had another baby at the time who passed away due to a horrible leg infection. The vets tried to save him but his little body just couldn't make it. Rosalie was pregnant at the time with Holiday. Holiday was born on 7/7/21. On 8/5/21 he and mama made their way north to us. He's all fuzz and love! They've settled into the herd nicely and are loved by many!

Pedro (on the left) and Pancho (on the right) were our first donkeys. They're brothers from another mother!! They've been together for years and years. Their previous owner had become to ill to take care for them and desperately wanted them to stay together! We were so excited to offer these two a forever home
Pedro is a bit older, not sure just how much older, but I have to be honest this sweet old man holds a very special place in my heart (although you're not suppose to say you have a favorite, he is! LOL)

Ms. Adaline Marie is one of the the most beautiful souls, isn't she?! I fell in love with her from the moment I saw her. Sadly, I believe she has had a very hard life prior to us. She was sitting at two different feed lots in Texas with a baby on her side. Her sweet baby passed away before they could make it to us. She was sick, tired, thin, and just plain had given up by the time she arrived. It was heartbreaking to think of what she had gone through.
After many months of rest and proper care she started to thrive with us. And we noticed she become very large in the belly area. Not your normal "fat" donkey fat but like pregnant fat. Well, turns out she was pregnant and on May 3, 2019 baby Linus was born. It is an incredible feeling to know that he will never experience what she did. That he will know nothing but love and kindness his entire life. The vet guessed Adaline to be about 5 or 6 years old so she as well will live her life with us.
How lucky are we to have her love!!!

BABY LINUS!!!!!! I mean who doesn't love baby donkeys!!!!???? I was over the moon excited when he entered this world. We had no idea what we were getting since we have no history on her and she had been on 2 different feed lots. And her previous baby was spotted like she is.
Anyway, sweet little Linus was born 5/3/2019 and man has it been fun having him here!!
